Students academic performance has been one of the major discourse among social sciences disciplines in tertiary institutions in the last two decades in Nigeria. But unfortunately, very insignificant number of studies in this area has been conducted in the north east tertiary institutions. This research was undertaken to fill this obvious gap. The objectives of the research study therefore includes; to examine the most common factors associated with poor academic performance of students in Gombe State University and to explore the consequences associated with poor academic performance of students in Gombe State University. Furthermore, the research employed a descriptive method and data was collected from a sampled of 584 respondents using Krejcie and Morgan Sample Size Calculator via the aid of the questionnaire. The data was analysed with the aid of Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (Version, 21). The findings of the study indicated that, the most common factors associated with poor academic performance of students in Gombe State University includes family stress, lack of proper orientation programmes and commitment of students to academic activities and overcrowding in class among others. Similarly, the consequences of poor academic performance of students in the university include poor academic semester results, probation and dismissal among others. Finally, the study recommends among others on the need for parents guardians to support and encourage their wards by relieving them from family activities during school sessions. Also, the university management need to provide more facilities which will help in reducing congestions among students in class.

This study aimed to evaluate one private higher educational institution marketing initiatives as baseline data for a sustainable marketing plan during the School Year 2018-2019. Since it was founded, this private higher educational institution has not conceptualized creating a marketing office that has focus its programs and activities solely for marketing. What they had before in marketing was a part-time employee who did the marketing activities for the school in concurrent functions. Recently, a marketing office was created and a marketing officer was appointed, and a marketing program was designed, putting emphasis on five (5) aspects of intensive marketing program. In a highly competitive world of private education where everyone aims to be on top, every higher educational institution enunciated programs in marketing that would leave traces in the hearts and minds of the populace. This study describes the five strategies and plans employed by one private higher educational institution, the purpose of which is for the betterment of the school in general. The five (5) marketing plans and strategies are as follows: 1.) Do It Yourself Internal Marketing 2.) School Campus to Campus Marketing 3.) Parents, Alumni, Community Involvement Marketing 4) Multi Media Social Media Marketing and 5.) Extensive International and Local Linkages on Shipping and Hotel Marketing. A systematic marketing program deemed to be of great help to the school in general.

In the village of Bojong Kulur Bogor, where the government is currently vigorously undertaking an intensive rural area development program, this study examines the impact of infrastructure and culinary options on visitor satisfaction along the river. Due to its rather densely populated residential sector, Bojong Kulur Village has a distinct urban atmosphere and is one of Indonesias most densely populated villages. A culinary tourism destination was constructed on pier 6 in the residential area by the village government in collaboration with the head of RT 06 RW 36 Vila Nusa Indah III Block KD, and it was opened in June 2022. The goal of this study is to describe how tourism infrastructure affects riverbank tourism, and it is anticipated that the results will be helpful when organizing volunteer activities in tourist locations.Quantitative writing techniques are employed. the theoretical framework on which journals, websites, and libraries operate. Based on data that has been obtained and can be advised to river tourism management, the studys findings include service and infrastructure upgrades for riverside tourist partners in Bojong Kulur Village.

Folk narratives are rich repositories of the cultures of Indigenous peoples. For example, the Subanens in the Zamboanga Peninsula, Mindanao, Philippines, have several folk narratives that can shed light on their material and non-material cultures. This ethnographic study explored the gbatad (culture) of the Subanens, as depicted in the folk narratives called the gukitan or sinugel. The studys research locales were the municipalities of Katipunan and Mutia in Zamboanga del Norte and San Miguel and Lakewood in Zamboanga del Sur. A first-hand gathering of the folk narratives was conducted to produce a corpus of folk narratives as the primary data from which the Subanen gbatad was identified. Actual narrations were done by the tribal leaders and select tribesmen who served as the key informants of the study. In addition, focus group discussions were made to elicit the cultural underpinnings of the narratives. The research resulted in the gathering, transcriptions, and translations of 79 narratives, in which two of them talked about a gbeklug, the most sacred communal gathering among the sub-groups of the Subanens in the Zamboanga Peninsula. Gbeklug, which stands prominently as a marker of the cultural identity of these Indigenous people, requires strict adherence to the process and the materials needed for the construction of the gbeklugan (platform). The performance of such a grand festivity demands utmost caution from all people in attendance.

Ink into the skin The lived experiences of Female students in a Catholic School was a qualitative research study that explored the experiences of female students in a Catholic school who have tattoos. The study aimed to understand the experiences of these female students and how they were perceived and accepted within their school and respective communities. The study used semi-structured, in-depth interviews to gather data from the participants and gain a deeper understanding of their experiences. It examined how these students handled the expectations of their school, community, and the societal pressures to conform to the norm. The findings of this study revealed tattoo as an emblem of the owners self-identity, adoption of tattoo culture, societys attitudes towards female students with tattoos, and the resiliency of the inner self. Still, ultimately the personal significance of the tattoos outweighed any societal stigma. The above findings can contribute to a greater understanding of the experiences of female students with tattoos in a Catholic School setting. Lastly, it can add to the broader conversation around tattoos, selfexpression, and the body.

The education sector is one of the vital stakeholders in the functional transformation of our world through the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) as an education sector is one of its enablers by carrying out sustainable development through Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). But, only a few universities could implement ESD holistically and reported its implementation. Hence, using explanatory-sequential inquiry, this study explored the extent of ESD implementation and the challenges encountered in one state university in Central Philippines through its greening program. The results revealed that the university reached a great extent of ESD implementation. This means that the indicators of the five pillars of the greening program were often observed in the whole university and per campus, respectively. Despite this rating, the university still faces several implementation challenges. However, based on qualitative inquiry, ESD implementation is still promising. It just needs to continually improve by working on the different opportunities for improvements using the whole institution approach. Consequently, the greening program will be instrumental in realizing the vision of the school to become a GREEN institution by 2030 at the same time, contribute to the priority areas of ESD through reorienting education to address sustainability and creating public awareness and understanding of sustainability.

Several studies mostly focus on a specific area of research, the current paper’s aim is to bring together the various research in a single volume, indicating their particularities as well as demonstrate their inter-relations. Phonological, lexical and syntactic processing Second Language Processing (SLP) are discussed as SLP is a cognitive form of acquisition, and is debated o be bottom-up processes, up-down processes, or a combination of both resulting in integrated interactive processes. SLP faces more complicated issues and involves more factors in comparison with L1 processing as L2 reading comprehension observes the effect of higher-order processes and chances of crosslinguistic transfer in relation to the reader’s L2 linguistic knowledge, L2 proficiency levels, or other language-general reading processes. Furthermore, the major reading process models are mentioned in categories of word identification, syntactic parsing and discourse processing, as well as text and reader related variables are reviewed. Finally, some of the main pedagogical associations with teaching reading comprehension are examined.

The construction of an understanding of Sukarno is strongly influenced by how the discourse about Sukarno is produced. Discourse about Sukarno can only be traced through texts documenting the narrative about Sukarno. This study aims to describe how Sukarno is contained in the text. This research uses Qualitative research methods with a Critical Discourse Analysis approach. Critical Discourse Analysis uses Norman Faircloughs model with a model framework, namely, Text analysis, Discourse practice, and Sociocultural practice. The results of this study showed that: (1) texts about Sukarno in the Indonesian history textbook chapter of Guided Democracy in the 1975 curriculum were studied in the early stages, namely text analysis by looking at the relationship between words; (2) The text data that has been obtained is then analyzed using the second stage, namely Discourse practice, which is a stage to see how the production and consumption of the text; (3) The last stage in Norman Faircloughs Critical Discourse Analysis model is Sociocultural practice, which is a stage where it looks at external influences in influencing a discourse.

The right to vote and to stand for the welfare of ones country, especially in selecting the next leaders is at the core of every democratic government. In the Philippines, a national and local election was held in 2022. A few months before the May 2022 election, this study was conducted to determine the preferred stands of the voters presidential candidates in terms of issues in politics, economics, social, environmental, education and health. A total of 1,065 Filipino registered voters all over the country participated in an online survey that was conducted from January 1 to April 30, 2022. The results of the study revealed that the respondents preferred a president and vice president who will push for the automatic removal from office of any appointed official with involvement in corruption issues; while they oppose for a leader who proposed to go on war with China for territorial disputes. They preferred a leader who will continue the 4Ps as social program; while they least preferred a president who will agree in the legalization of abortion in the Philippines. As economic priority programs, they preferred a leader who will improve the condition of the agricultural sectors. As environmental priority program, they prefer a president who will push for: exploration of renewable energy sources; policies on climate change; decongestion of Manila; and mandate the restrictions of mining industries re: land owned by the IPs. In terms of educational programs, leaders must prioritize support for Filipino inventors and scientists; as well improve teachers qualifications; uplift the quality of textbooks; amend the K to 12 Law; and re-impose the mandatory ROTC for Senior High School and College students. In general, the respondents voted for Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., and Sara Duterte-Carpio as president and vice president respectively, which accord to the result of the actual election in May 2022.

This study utilized the descriptive research design to determine the reading difficulties of one hundred Grade 10 students who scored the least in the reading inventory in a public high school in Negros Occidental in the School Year 2021-2022 in terms of vocabulary and reading comprehension. Furthermore, their reading strategies were investigated. To solicit suggestions for building better reading skills, fifty of the selected respondents were interviewed through convenience sampling. The results reveal the following: (a) The students had difficulty understanding specialized words; (b) The students had difficulty answering critical questions; (c) The students used their background knowledge as their reading strategy; and (d) The students suggested that tutorials and spelling tests be conducted for their reading skills to improve. It was recommended that students resolve to better their reading skills and that teachers, parents, and curriculum specialists pay rapt attention to helping students gain reading proficiency.

The way we communicate information is as important as the messages we convey. Cultural variables, such as nationality, ethnic background, religion, and gender, may give us a reference for both sending and receiving messages in styles that are linear or circular, direct, or indirect, attached or detached, procedural or personal, and more confrontational in either intellectual or relational terms. These differences in values and communication styles that contribute to cultural diversity are also an integral part of the classroom environment. The present article sheds light on these individual differences in relation to teachers cultural identities and how they impact their pedagogical practices.

The content of viewpoints on education in the Ly - Tran period is not a random phenomenon; it is derived from the goals and requirements of the reality of Dai Viet society during that period. Educational thoughts in the Ly - Tran period was absorbed from Chinese Confucianism; Besides, based on the nations traditional cultural thought, the educational thought of the Ly - Tran dynasties had inherited, developed, and integrated with the educational ideology in Confucianism, Buddha, and Taoism, flexibly and appropriately consistent with the situation of Dai Viet in the XI-XIV centuries. Along with the views on educational content, educational thought of the Ly - Tran period is also expressed through the perception of the organization and methods in education. The article focuses on presenting the viewpoints on educational methods of the Ly - Tran period through the main themes such as language, writing, and learning materials; teaching and learning methods; testing system.

This study aims to examine the effect of service quality dimensions on student satisfaction at Universitas Amikom Yogyakarta. The research population was all undergraduate students who had studied at least in the third semester. The research population was all undergraduate students who had studied at least in the third semester. The sample size was 320. The sampling technique chosen was purposive sampling. Furthermore, testing the research hypothesis using a multiple linear regression model. The results of hypothesis testing prove that the dimensions of tangibles, assurance and empathy have a significant positive effect on student satisfaction. While the dimensions of reliability and responsiveness have a positive but not significant effect on student satisfaction. The coefficient R squared is 56%, meaning that the variation in changes in student satisfaction is determined by the five dimensions of service quality in the research regression model of this study.

This study aims to determine the validity, effectiveness and practicality of teaching materials on Pancasila Education and Citizenship on the subject of Archipelagic Insight based on wetlands. The research was conducted at Sungai Tabuk 1 Public High School, Banjar Regency, South Kalimantan for the 2021/2022 academic year. This research is a development research using the Tessmer model. Data collection was carried out by means of questionnaires, interviews and observations. Data analysis was carried out in a quantitative descriptive manner. The results of this study indicate that the teaching materials for Pancasila Education and Archipelagic Citizenship Based on Wetland Environment are declared valid. This is based on the results of expert reviews on the suitability of the material, the composition of the material, the consistency of writing, the display of photos/images, the display of tables, the shape and size of letters, conformity with the writing of Indonesian language rules, and suitability of the images with the material. Teaching materials are also stated to be practical to use. This is known from the results of individual trials and small group trials. Some of the things asked for by students opinions were about the ease of understanding the content of the material, clarity in understanding instructions in doing group assignments, and clarity in understanding individual assignments. In addition, teaching materials are also declared effective. This is known from field or large-scale trials conducted on intact classes. From the results of the effectiveness test of teaching materials, it is known that they are in the good and very good categories.

This study focuses on investigating the effectiveness of Blended Learning in teaching Writing for English majors at Thai Nguyen University of Education. In order to eliminate subjectivity in the research, the author used simultaneously three means of data collection including test, questionnaire and observation. The results of the pre-test and post-test showed that students improved their Writing skills significantly after a semester of applying Blended Learning in teaching. The results of the students questionnaire and the teachers observations also showed the students positive attitudes towards this method. On this basis, Blended Learning is proposed to be applied more in teaching Writing for students at university.

This research study determines the hunchbacks and coping mechanisms of farm working pupils at one of the schools in the District of Calatrava-II academic year 2018-2019. A narrative inquiry type of qualitative research was utilized to describe the experiences of the farm working pupils. Six farm working pupils who were selected through purposive sampling were involved as participants in the study. The study was conducted through series of interviews. Three primary themes on hunchbacks of farm working pupils emerged in the findings: Financial Constraint of the Family, Overladen with Household Chores and Hazardous Way Difficult Road Going to School. Themes that emerged in the findings on their coping mechanisms were Seeking Social Support for Financial Reasons, Radical Acceptance of the situation, Optimistic Attitude Matters and School as Haven from Stress. The opportunities derived from the hunchbacks encountered by the farm working pupils were Of Becoming Self-Reliant, Responsible and Prioritizing Family. Findings of this study will be valuable among parents for them to be fair in giving household task and to be aware of the burden they place on the shoulder of their children. The school and the local government should also plan out on what and how these children can be helped.

The general objective of this study was to determine the influence of the principals leadership, namely leader trait, leader capability and Leader Style on teacher performance in Pamekasan 1st State Sinior High School. The specific objectives are: 1) To determine the influence of the principals leadership factors, namely the leader trait, leader capability and Leader Style on teacher performance at Pamekasan 1st State Sinior High School; 2) To find out the performance of teachers in Pamekasan 1st State Sinior High School. The type of research used is descriptive using multiple linear regression models. The location of the research was conducted at Pamekasan 1st State Sinior High School. With a population of all teachers in Pamekasan 1st State Sinior High School, the technique used is probability sampling with simple random sampling technique, where the sampling of members of the population is done randomly without regard to strata in the population (homogeneous); The sample size is 59 teachers with an error rate of 5%, so the number of samples in this study is 51 teacher. Data is collected through a list of questions (questionnaire questionnaire). From the results of the study it can be concluded: 1) There is an influence of the principals leadership factors, namely the leader trait, leader capability and Leader Style simultaneously have a significant effect on teacher performance in Pamekasan 1st State Sinior High School, and 2) There is an influence of leadership factors the principal, namely leader style partially influences the teacher performance in Pamekasan 1st State Sinior High School where leader style is a leadership factor that has a dominant influence on teacher performance in Pamekasan 1st State Sinior High School. But the leader trait and leader capability partially did not affect the teacher performance in Pamekasan 1st State Sinior High School.

This paper examines the situation of Tunisian workers in foreign companies established in Tunisia over the period 2019–2022. The methodology of the study depends on the quantitative and qualitative method, both of which are based on experience and monitoring results and statistics. The results indicate that the situation of workers within these institutions ranges between satisfaction and dissatisfaction. It is not good in view of the level of low wages, and it is not bad in view of the availability of a minimum suitable work environment. Several policies are proposed and discussed.

This study intends to investigate the technological training tool used in the teaching of martial arts athletes in physical education classes. It will investigate the effect of virtual training tools, online coaching platforms, and collaborative software on athlete performance, motivation, and engagement in martial arts training. This study intends to contribute to the understanding of how technology can be utilized to increase athletic performance and expand access to sports training by examining the effects of technology on martial arts training. Findings indicate that martial arts instruction is an essential component of physical education curricula, since it provides learners with numerous benefits, including physical health, cognitive development, emotional control, and social skills. In addition, technological tools have made martial arts instruction more accessible and interesting to students.

Sport-based physical education focuses on sports and other physical activities. Students have the opportunity to participate in a range of physical activities, learn the rules and regulations of a variety of sports, and develop collaboration and sportsmanship in an organized and extensive sports-based physical education program. As such, this quantitative study examines how sports-based PE affects the physical activity of chosen Chinese junior high school students. Numbers are used to test hypotheses and answer research inquiries. A researcher-made survey questionnaire was given to 349 randomly selected junior high school students at a selected school in China. This was utilized to gather data on their physical activity and sports program perspectives. The mean scores revealed that junior high school students perceive sports-based physical education programs increase physical activity across all four categories. The study indicated no significant difference is the result when grouped according to sex.

This qualitative study utilized the narrative approach to determine the advantages and disadvantages of printed modular distance learning in terms of lesson preparation and assessment of students outputs based on the experiences of six teachers in a public elementary school in Negros Occidental in the School Year 2021-2022, the strategies they employed in lesson preparation and assessment of students outputs, and the insights they gained into their strategies when they engaged in printed modular distance learning modality. The findings reveal the following: (a) Modules are readily available for the only advantage of the printed modular distance learning in terms of lesson preparation; (b) Students outputs are well-thought-out for the only advantage of the printed modular distance learning in terms of assessment of students outputs; (c) Lessons are inappropriate and lesson preparation is delayed for the disadvantages of printed modular distance learning in terms of lesson preparation; (d) The authenticity of students outputs is dubitable for the only disadvantage of printed modular distance learning; (e) Be creative and flexible for the strategies employed by teachers in lesson preparation; (f) Verify the authenticity for the only strategy employed by teachers in the assessment of students outputs; (g) Flexibility and creativity may make lesson preparation easy for the insights gained by teachers into their strategies in terms of lesson preparation; and (h) Time management and appropriate assessment tools may facilitate assessment of students outputs for the insights gained by teachers into their strategies in terms of assessment of students outputs. The teachers were able to prepare their lessons and assess their students outputs despite the drawbacks of printed modular distance learning with effective strategies.

Since the implementation of the General Education Program Year 2018, schools and teachers have the autonomy in choosing teaching content, and teaching methodologies suitable to the practical conditions of local and schools. To meet the renovation requirements of world education and Vietnamese educational, teachers need to have the capacity to develop curriculum. Curriculum development is a process that is carried out continuously with the aim of reviewing, updating, supplementing and developing to meet the needs of society, scientific achievements and technology as well as labor market requirements. The purpose of this study is to discover the factors affecting the curriculum development capacity of primary school teachers in the Northern mountainous area of Vietnam. The exploratory factor analysis (EFA) method was used on the basis of the survey results from 261 primary school teachers. Since then, four factors affecting the program development capacity of primary school teachers have been identified: physical facilities (45.710%); the direction and supervision of managers (9,940%); the ability to understand the general education program year 2018 (7.046%) and the capacity to design lessons (4.875%). This is the premise that suggests some recommendations to improve the program development capacity for teachers in the Northern mountainous areas of Vietnam.

Conversion is very common in modern English. The main condition for the formation of a new language unit through conversion is the change of the syntactic function of the word, which is observed by the change of meaning. It is sometimes necessary to change the basic syntactic environment that is needed for conversion. A word formed by the conversion takes all the inflectional forms of the part of the language to which it belongs. Conversion, as a means of forming verbs and nouns, has become one of the characteristic features of the English language since the XIII century. The conversion formed as a result of the collapse of the inflectional system at the beginning of the Central Asian period. From 1150, a number of derivative verbs formed by conversion from adjectives appeared, and from the 13th-15th centuries, verbs derived from adverbs and participles appeared. In the Middle English period, until about the 15th century, the formation of verbs from nouns and adjectives significantly decreased due to the emergence of a large number of nouns and verbs borrowed from French. The grammatical homonymy of many English verbs and nouns resulting from the loss of inflection was only one of the prerequisites for the emergence of conversion as a new way of word formation.

The research reported in this article was part of a developmental research project that developed an Android-based digital pocket book for the fifth-grade Indonesian language subject. The specific objective of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the developed digital pocket book, which had passed the validity and practicality tests. To reveal the effectiveness of the digital pocket book, the researchers implemented it as a new learning media for one class of fifth grade consisting of 24 students from an elementary school in Maros Regency, South Sulawesi Province, Indonesia. These students did not participate in the previous stages of the study. The implementation process used a one-group-pretest posttest design. Data was collected using multiple-choice and essay tests and analyzed descriptively and inferentially. The developed product was considered effective if more than 75% of the students exceeded the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM), the N-Gain score was at least in the medium category, and the Wilcoxon test result was Asymp. Sig 0.05, indicating a difference between pretest dan posttest scores. The data analysis showed that the android-based digital pocket book for the fifth-grade Indonesian language subject met all the effectiveness criteria demonstrating that it improved students learning in the Indonesian language subject in this study

Background:Family planning (FP) has been classified by the World Health Organization (WHO) as one of the essential sexual health measures necessary to encourage safe childbearing by reducing maternal and newborn death (United Nations, 2014). Method: A cross-sectional study with a quantitative approach was used to carry out this research. This approach was used to measure both the outcome (uptake of family planning) and exposures (socio-demographic characteristics, knowledge, and attitude of women towards family planning) concurrently. Result: The result of the study showed that 88(34.1%) of the respondents were between the age of 31 to 35 years. The mean age of the respondents was 30.67 years with a standard deviation of 6.162 years. The results also showed that the majority of the respondents (98.1%) were aware of family planning. Also, 76.4% and 77.1% of the study participants had good knowledge and a good attitude toward family planning respectively. The uptake of family planning among the respondents was 78.7%. Conclusion:Study participants age, marital status, ethnicity, number of children, and knowledge were associated with FP uptake among women of reproductive age. Recommendation:Family planning education should be based on isolated factors such as side effects, preference, and spousal opposition that influence contraceptive use among women of childbearing age.

School self-management has come to be seen as a participatory and collaborative process between all school teachers and the surrounding community and its institutions. This quantitative study examines reality using the self-management of school principals. The sample of the study involved 215 principals of schools in the green line region of Palestine. A questionnaire was emailed and posted on social media (Facebook and WhatsApp) to collect data. The Statistical Package for Social Sciences was used to analyze the data. The findings of the study were: (i) self-management faces great challenges in its application; (ii) principals do not involve teachers and society in decision-making. (iii) The inability of school principals to set the general objectives of the curriculum due to a lack of experience; (iv) Some principals were unable to create teachers who carried out their duties through self-management.

As human beings, we all claim, crave and protect our birthrights. Even history taught us this fact through the wars and rebellions of many. It is in our blood. Denying these rights is equivalent to challenging our very own humanity. In Mauritius, we proudly claim the existence of our fundamental rights in our Constitution. Our Constitution and all the legislations that follow, are promises to safeguard our rights as citizens of Mauritius. However, are these rights the same for everyone? When thinking of inadequate rights in Mauritius, we immediately think of targeted groups – the poor and discriminated groups. Then, does it seem all rights are protected in Mauritius? What about those at the mercy of the authorities? What about those looking for justice? Do these people feel they belong to this country? This paper focuses on the rights of detainees and victims in Mauritius will be profoundly questioned to know whether they are sufficiently protected or not while comparing with the legal system of United Kingdom.

Education is a complex social system, which enables individuals in a society to acquire knowledge and skills that will help them realize their life ambitions, but also helps society as a whole to achieve a higher level of economic and social development. The education system is composed of several segments such as preschool, primary, secondary and higher education. It is very important whether each of the segments in the education system fulfills its goals, as well as whether there is synergy and logical connectedness between the segments in the education system. Hence, this article will try to present the characteristics of the different segments of the educational system in North Macedonia, the goals they need to achieve, as well as the challenges they face.

This paper aims to explore multicultural education in elementary schools in Banyumas district. This research raises a socio-cultural portrait in the context of learning. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The research method used is a naturalistic inquiry approach case study. There were three elementary schools that were sampled in this study, namely SD Negeri Sidamulya Kemranjen, SD Negeri 3 Banjarpanepen, and SD Mulia Bhakti Purwokerto. The data collection uses observations, interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data is carried out by confirming the results of observations, interviews, documentation. Data credibility tests are carried out by extending observations, increasing persistence, data triangulation, member checks, and references. Data analysis using the Miles & Huberman interactive model. The results show that the application of multicultural education in elementary schools in Banyumas Regency is divided into three patterns, namely the application of multicultural education in learning activities, the application of multicultural education in learning content, and the application of multicultural education in intracurricular/ extracurricular schools.

The aim of this paper is to propose a methodological framework for incorporating multicultural education into foreign language teaching using a task-based approach. The paper presents three objectives for achieving this aim: (1) investigate the role of multicultural education in foreign language teaching (FLT); (2) examine the effectiveness of task-based approach in promoting intercultural competence and understanding in FLT; and finally (3) provide recommendations for the integration of multicultural education into FLT in Ukraine, based on the findings of this study. The study presents a literature review of the role of multicultural education in foreign language teaching, which emphasizes the need for learners to develop intercultural competence alongside language proficiency. The effectiveness of task-based language teaching (TBLT) in promoting intercultural competence and understanding is also discussed, with several studies suggesting that TBLT can be an effective approach for promoting intercultural competence among learners. The findings discuss a study conducted in Ukraine, which investigated the integration of multicultural education into foreign language teaching using a task-based approach. The study found that incorporating multicultural education into TBLT can enhance learners intercultural competence and understanding, as well as their motivation to learn the language. The paper brings to light several recommendations for the integration of multicultural education into foreign language teaching in Ukraine and other countries, including the use of authentic materials and tasks, the promotion of collaboration and interaction among learners from different cultural backgrounds, and the incorporation of reflection activities into the curriculum. In conclusion, it is proposed to consider a methodological framework for incorporating multicultural education into foreign language teaching using a task-based approach. The study findings suggest that TBLT can be an effective tool for promoting intercultural competence among learners, and that the integration of multicultural education into TBLT can enhance learners motivation to learn the language. The recommendations provided can serve as a guide for foreign language teachers in Ukraine and other contexts who wish to incorporate multicultural education into their language teaching practice.

This conceptual paper is presented with the intention to study the characteristics of a successful asnafpreneur specifically at south states of Malaysia. It started by reviewing the past literature on the features of successful asnafpreneur, business person or source that contribute in someones career to bloom. The basis studys foundation was a hypothesis of past successful business person theory. The lack of growth in successful asnafpreneurs and the advancement of technology for asnaf issues in Malaysia are the driving forces behind this study. The novel in these studies is that researcher study the similarities in 4 south states in Malaysia. Other past study only focusses on 1 state or at least 2 states. The discoveries could benefit todays body of knowledge.

This research intends to evaluate the creation of environmentally beneficial, educational, and regulated tourism attractions along the river. Bogor Regency is one of the tourist settlements overseen by the government to promote the village economy and family economy along the Bojong Kulur river. The population of the river tourism village in Bojong Kulur village was sampled using a descriptive qualitative non-random sampling methodology. The studys sample consisted of 138 respondents. According to this study, the river tourism village has implemented four concepts: (1) the idea of a tourist destination; (2) facilities; (3) regulation; and (4) improvement of the family economy.Also, for even better development, the medias and relevant governments roles in preserving tourism attractions in the village of Bojon Kulur, Bogor Regency, are essential.

The purpose of this study was to determine students concern for the environment, especially those on the riverbanks of Banjarmasin City. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection was carried out using interviews, questionnaires, and observation techniques. The data obtained were analyzed using interactive model analysis techniques. This research was conducted at a public elementary school near a river in Banjarmasin City. The results of this study indicate that the awareness of students in the city of Banjarmasin, especially at the elementary school level, is: very good 9%, good 54%, not good 36% and very bad 1%.

This scientific work will discuss the enforcement of restorative justice in cases of traffic crimes that result in death. The formulation of the problem of law enforcement principles based on restorative justice for traffic accidents that result in human casualties and the principle of justice is in accordance with the principles of restorative justice for traffic accidents that result in human casualties. The research method used is normative research method with a statutory approach, conceptual and case. The results of the study show the application of the concept of restorative justice in the practice of crime prevention in Indonesia, especially when changes to criminal procedural law or criminal law in general are not a priority for legislation, but the concept of restorative justice in Indonesia in the context of criminal law does not yet have a specific forum, and in applying in the process of investigation, prosecution and examination in court as well as restorative justice returns the conflict to the parties who are most known for their influence-victims, perpetrators and the interests of their communities and give priority to their interests. Then attempt a restorative justice approach. but on purpose, namely creating harmony or restoring balance in social relations. thus, the acceptance and functionalization of restorative justice is more on the function of law in solving social problems better.

In the generation of technological advancement, students tend to have difficulty learning science education since it encompasses numerous fields, making it challenging for students to assimilate knowledge about the topic. An approach called game-based learning exhibits positive results in students academic performance where teachers integrate a learning approach for students to engage and motivate them throughout the learning process. Since there is a lack of empirical evidence, this metaanalysis study conducted a systematic literature review that seeks to know the methods, theoretical foundations, and educational outcomes of game-based learning in science education. This study includes a document analysis of 26 empirical literature studies from 2016 to 2021. Significant findings include that (1) most articles employed quasi-experimental research design, (2) most empirical studies utilized strategy games as the game genre, (3) most learning theories associated with science game-based learning are rooted in constructivism, and (4) most commonly observed science game-based learning outcomes focus on knowledge attainment among reviewed empirical literature. Significant findings imply that game-based learning is effective and can become productive for students in science learning.

The gross domestic product and the per capita income are leading indicators regarding the income and the wealth of nations. The gross domestic product and the per capita income can be modelled dependent on various econometric data such as the export revenue, tourism revenue, trade deficit and the industrial revenue. In this work, an alternative and novel method is presented for the modelling of the gross domestic product and the per capita income. In this study, the gross domestic product and the per capita income are modelled autoregressively employing deep learning networks namely autoregressive deep learning networks. The input data of the developed deep learning networks are taken as the past values of the modelled variable making the deep learning networks effectively autoregressive models. As application examples of the autoregressive deep learning models, the gross domestic product and the per capita income data of Türkiye for the period of 1960-2021 are separately modelled. The autoregressive deep learning networks are developed in Python programming language. The coefficient of determination (R2), mean absolute error (MAE), mean absolute percentage error (MAPE) and the root mean square error (RMSE) of the developed models are also computed. The plots of the results of the developed autoregressive deep learning models and the performance metrics of the models show that the developed autoregressive deep learning models can be utilized to accurately model the gross domestic product and the per capita income.

The strategy that can be done is to build cooperation by empowering all school residents for the realization of the vision, mission, and goals of education. When the vision, mission, and goals have been realized, this is an indication that a school is on a current that takes it towards achieving quality education. Transformational leadership eases the way for school principals to improve the quality of education. The focus of this research includes: (1) the principals leadership at SDN Pasar Lama 1 and SDN Sungai Miai 10 Banjarmasin, (2) the principals strategy in implementing the vision and mission at SDN Pasar Lama 1 and SDN Sungai Miai 10 Banjarmasin, (3) the principals strategy in improving the quality of education at SDN Pasar Lama 1 and SDN Sungai Miai 10 Banjarmasin. The research approach used is qualitative multi-site type study. Data were collected through participant observation techniques, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are individual data analysis techniques and cross-case analysis. Meanwhile, the validity of the data is checked by means of internal validation, external validation, reliability, and objectivity.

Critical listening is comparing what is heard to some standard or cognitive evidence. The creative listener analyses the statements and facts throughout this process to generate critical judgments. This highly intentional endeavor requires a questioning and analytical mentality to conclude or act on the judgments formed through creative listening. The capacity to make knowledgeable judgments while hearing analytically to discern both qualities and faults is the goal of critical listening. The main goal is pedagogical and concerns designing and testing a tool that could measure students’ critical listening skill improvement during a speech course program. A total number of N = 170 learners participated in qualitative-experimental studies in which we developed a t-test and program to develop and assess critical listening skills. Results show that students’ listening skills improved in specific aspects of critical listening at both times. Effects were more significant in the second round due to adjustments to the program curriculum and the assessment tool. Results support the impact of the intervention by modest to high effect sizes and the construct validity of the assessment tool. We consider the improvement found in the current study a vital beginning and recommend that listening skills become an integral part of the curriculum at the undergraduate level. It would be essential to do a follow-up measurement to verify if the learners retain the critical listening skills beyond the current course and use their spontaneously inappropriate real-life situations.

Poverty has always a concern of policy makers around the world, because it hinders the sustainable economic development. Poverty alleviation is one of the development goals that will be achieved, including in Southeast Asia. This study aims to analyze the determinants of poverty in ASEAN countries using the Vector Autoregression Model analysis, with an analysis period of 2017-2021. The results showed that the financial sector and macroeconomic variables of economic openness and inflation could influence poverty. In contrast, economic growth did not affect the poverty rate in ASEAN countries. The poverty rate was able to respond quickly since the shock in the financial sector and macroeconomic variables, except for the response to inflation which only emerged in the second year since the shock.

This study aimed to describe syntactically and semantically the editorials of local newspapers in Bacolod City. The corpora included nine editorials from the three local newspaper publications published from August to November 2016. The extracts of each editorial were analyzed using Swales (1990) CARS model to find out the organizational moves used. It was found that the most prevalent move was Move 2, which was optional since obligatory and optional moves are based on the cut-off frequency of 60 percent occurrence as a measure of move stability (Muangsamai, 2018). Moreover, the most prevalent among Flowerdew’s (2002) Signalling Nouns [Halliday and Hassan’s (1976) General Nouns] was change with six occurrences. Among Halliday and Hassan’s (1976) four Conjunctive Relations, the additive type prevailed with 138 occurrences; and, with 125. As for the Modal Verbs of Roberts and fellow authors (2010), can transpired the most with twenty-two counts. Therefore, students should be taught significant lexical items and the organization of arguments. The results of this study may serve as the basis for an intervention program that would develop the editorial writing skill of students.

The Law on Religious Courts regulates zakat for the needs of Muslims who are Muslim. However, in an area which is a special region of Aceh Province which has a special territory in implementing Islamic syariyah, the area has a qanun to regulate zakat. The deficiencies in this qanun do not specifically regulate Zakat Corruption Crime Cases. The purpose of this research is to analyze and find the absolute competency regulations of the religious courts in deciding criminal cases against the misappropriation of zakat managers through the Shari ah Court in Aceh Province which have not been based on the value of justice; And to analyze and find weaknesses in the regulation of the absolute competence of the religious courts in deciding criminal cases against the misappropriation of zakat managers through the Sharia Court in Aceh Province at this time; This type of empirical juridical research is more suitable for social-legal studies regarding Islamic law applied in Aceh. The approach used is a qualitative approach using Field Research. Based on the results of the juridical analysis: First, the absolute competency regulation of the religious courts in Aceh, known as the Syariah Court, still does not have the authority to decide criminal cases against the misappropriation of zakat managers. According to the researcher, it is necessary to add letters to the articles contained in the relevant laws and qanuns regarding cases of zakat corruption, because their understanding comes from the Al-Quran, Sunnah, and the opinion of Ulama. Weaknesses in the regulation of the absolute competence of the religious courts in proposing that criminal cases against misappropriation of zakat managers can be handed over to the Sharia Court, because it can be seen from the website that there is still a lack of openness of the Baitul Mal Institution to report finances in the form of income, expenditure and these funds will be channeled to the right person , so that the Sharia Court is needed in resolving the zakat problem if there is an abuse of the distribution of zakat.

This paper aimed to determine the extent of practice of the soft skills of student interns along the dimensions, namely: collaboration, communication, creativity, critical thinking, leadership, and selfregulation. Specifically, this paper purposed to ascertain significant differences in the extent of practice of the soft skills of student interns along the aforementioned dimensions and when they were grouped according to sex, program, and campus. Furthermore, the challenges that the student interns encountered in the acquisition of soft skills were also identified. The respondents were the 345 student interns of Carlos Hilado Memorial State College enrolled during the School Year 2018-2019. Employing the descriptivecomparative research design, a researcher-made questionnaire was used to gather data about the soft skills of the respondents. Mean, Independent Samples t-test, One-Way ANOVA, and frequency were used to gather data. The findings reveal that the extent of practice of the six soft skills among student interns when they were taken as a whole was high. There was no significant difference in the extent of practice of the six soft skills when they were classified according to sex. However, there was a significant difference in the extent of practice of the six soft skills when they were classified according to campus and college. The top five challenges that the student interns encountered in the acquisition of soft skills were lack of selfconfidence, fear of committing mistakes, fear of being laughed at, being anxious about others impressions or reactions, and lack of confidence in their knowledge or abilities.

To streamline physical education policies and guidelines, one must understand the Physical Education teachers technology needs. Recognizing technological demands can help physical education teachers keep up with new technology that can improve their teaching. In addition, this can help teachers integrate technology into their teaching and stay current in a tech-driven world. The research aims to determine the technological needs of physical education (PE) teachers in selected sports school in Beijing, China. Quantitative-comparative research was used. Eighty (80) PE teachers at selected Chinese sports schools were assessed for technology needs. The profile was used to alter variables. The researcher created an instrument using parameters from many sources to collect quantitative study data. Results show that PE teachers prioritize skills development. Therefore, to gain confidence and skill in using technology to teach physical education, teachers must be prioritized for training programs.

This study aims to produce a holistic-integrative PAI learning model in the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains in an integrated manner (PHIKAP) using Capras theory which has the principles of connectedness, wholeness, and being. This research uses a Research and Development (R & D) approach based on the theory from Borg & Gall, which is simplified into four stages: a preliminary study, designing a model draft, validating the model draft; and testing the model in the field using a quasi-experimental Pretest and Posttest Non-equivalent Control Group Design. Collecting data using questionnaires, interviews, trials, and tests. Data analysis used quantitative and qualitative methods (mixed method). For quantitative data using the Mann-Whitney U test statistic and qualitative data using descriptive qualitative. Research results: (1) PAI learning in elementary schools, which is currently taking place, is more dominant in the cognitive domain than affective and psychomotor, even though these three domains should ideally be carried out in a holistic, integrative manner according to juridical, psychological, and religious provisions; (2) The product of this research is the PHIKAP PAI Model in Elementary Schools, which is a learning design that is structured starting from planning, implementing, and evaluating connectedness, wholeness and being in the cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains. The model developed includes rationale, goals, principles, planning, implementation, and evaluation strategies, as well as criteria and assumptions for the success of Islamic education learning in elementary schools; (3) The effect of the PHIKAP model is proven to be effective in improving the quality of the learning process by 75.75% through strengthening the functions of the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains in a comprehensive and balanced manner. This value is higher than the group that does not use the PHIKAP model with a quality value of 58,63..%; (4) The effect of the PHIKAP model is proven to be effective in improving the quality of PAI learning outcomes in the cognitive domain by 85.97%, 91.43% in the affective domain, and by 89.18% in the psychomotor domain. This value is higher than the group that does not use the PHIKAP model.

The objective of this research is to conduct an empirical analysis of the relationship between Economic Growth and Domestic Commercial Lending in Belize. This research is guided along the supply leading and demand following paradigms. Economic growth in this study is measured by annual Gross Domestic Product (GDP) which is employed as the dependent variable. The financial development variables applied are: Commercial Credit to Belize’s Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Sectors, Domestic Commercial Credit to the Private and Public Sectors and Interest Rates (lending). These are employed as the independent variables. The results of this research found that (i) Commercial lending in general has a positive effect on overall economic growth, particularly in the secondary and tertiary sectors (ii) Domestic Commercial Credit to the Private Sector has a positive relation on economic growth (iii) Domestic Credit to the Public Sector does not positively affect economic growth (iv) Increase in Lending Rates has not deterred consumer borrowing and furthermore, economic growth. This research is trying to understand possible factors promoting sustainable Economic Growth of Belize.

This study aims to determine the effect of using the flipped classroom learning model assisted by mobile technology on the learning outcomes of Infantry Officer School of Indonesia Marine Corps students about reading maps. Officer graduates are required to have a good understanding of the concepts in each topic related to assignments. The ability to read maps is a top priority that must be mastered by the marine corps in war military operations. Time allocation in class is not enough for mastering the concept of map reading. It takes more time to master the material for the soldiers. The use of mobile technology provides access for Marine Corps students to additional study time online. The research method used is quasi-experimental or quasi-experimental using t-test data analysis techniques. The research design used a static group comparison design. Comparing the two groups that were taught using the flipped classroom model assisted by mobile technology and the conventional model. The subjects of this research were 133 students of Marine Corps Officer Formation Education at the Advanced Stage (Sargolan) who were divided into two groups, namely the experimental group of 67 students and the control group of 66 students. The findings in this study indicate that students who are taught with the flipped classroom model assisted by mobile technology obtain a better average learning outcome score. The flipped classroom model with the help of mobile technology is very suitable for Marine Corps Officer Formation Education students at the Advanced Class Basic Stage (Sargolan).

This study aims to analyze the relationship directly and indirectly between transformational leadership of school principals, interpersonal communication, self-efficacy and work discipline of high school teachers in South Hulu Sungai District. The method used in this study is quantitative research method. The population of this study was 219 teachers. The sample of this study was 141 teachers with the Proportional Random Sampling technique. Data collection instruments are questionnaires consisting of transformational leadership (35), interpersonal communication (23), self-efficacy (31) and work discipline (38) that have met the requirements of validity and reliability tests. Data analysis to test hypotheses using path analysis. The results of this study are that there is a direct relationship: (1) principal transformational leadership and teacher work discipline, (2) interpersonal communication and teacher work discipline, (3) teacher self-efficacy and work discipline, (4) principal transformational leadership and teacher interpersonal communication, (5) principal transformational leadership and self-efficacy, and indirect relationships (6) principal transformational leadership and teacher work discipline through interpersonal communication, 7) principal transformational leadership and teacher work discipline through self-efficacy.

This study aims to describe the learning model of reading and writing literacy during the Covid-19 pandemic at TK Tunas Ambulung Banjarbaru and TK Tunas Bangsa Banjarbaru. This study uses a qualitative approach with a multi-site method. Data collection through interviews, observation and documentation. The data is processed in the form of reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results of the study illustrate that Kindergarten uses guidelines from the Ministry of Education and Culture, fun play activities at school and at home, creates a pleasant atmosphere and provides an environment rich in literacy at school and at home, increases the competency of school principals and teachers through webinars on the implementation of learning and improvement competence in school and inter-school learning communities, partnering with Community Health Centers and Regional Libraries in limited face-to-face meetings, and teachers and parents taking advantage of Kindergarten media around childrens homes and around the school environment.

This study aims to analyze the direct and indirect relationship between conflict management, work environment, school climate to teacher job satisfaction in Madrasah Aliyah Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency. This research is a correlational research with a quantitative approach. The study population was 263 Madrasah Aliyah teachers. The sample technique used was proportional random sampling of 159 people. Analysis of research data using descriptive statistics with path analysis. Data collection was carried out using instruments consisting of conflict management (15 items), work environment (20 items), school climate (20 items) and job satisfaction (25 items). Test the validity and reliability of the data using Alpha Cronbach. The research data were analyzed using path analysis to see direct and indirect relationships between variables, by first conducting normality tests, homoscedasticity tests, multicollinearity tests and correlation tests. The results showed that there is a relationship between: (1) conflict management with teacher job satisfaction, (2) conflict management with the work environment, (3) conflict management with school climate, (4) work environment with teacher job satisfaction, (5) school climate and teacher job satisfaction, (6) indirect relationship of conflict management through the work environment with teacher job satisfaction, (7) indirect relationship of conflict management through school climate with teacher job satisfaction

The program of Corporate Social Responsibility is the key programs and project delivered and responsible for private sector as a source of economic empowerment and social cares. However, this sector has many involved interest and interlinked actors. Inventory all resources and roles played by actors are utmost important. The objective of this research was to clearly and precisely map actors in CSR sectors for agriculture and economic development. As much as 27 institutions interviewed and asked the roles and resources of individuals working inside organizations formally and informally. Parameters collected were shapes of organizations, status of law, organization types, roles of stakeholders, effect, importance, turn-back effect. We collected data of resources sharing, duration of periods, continuity of resources, and power of resources. Data gathered related to intervention, which could play by organization per se, i.e. policy, financial, space, time, access, satisfaction, knowledge, skills, and power. Data were stored in Microsoft excel worksheet and export to Social Network Visualizer software version 2.5.. Identified key and strategic stakeholder in CSR determined by its power and interest. We found nine negative correlation relationships amongst actors. There are also 18 positive correlation relationship amongst actors. We identified 7th layers based on the rules of power centrality (PC). Quadrant 1 consisted of one actor, seven actors (quadrant 2), 10 actors (quadrant 3), and nine actors (quadrant 4). Actors shall move from quadrant 4 to quadrant 2, as well as actors in quadrant 1 and quadrant 3. Delivery of CSR will move on and run forward to achieve its final goals, i.e., community development for prosperity living.

This qualitative research examined the challenges and opportunities of virtual physical education management due to the underlying issues that have plagued physical education teachers throughout the health crisis. The data for this study were collected using a descriptive-qualitative research approach. The researcher selected ten physical education teachers from a particular school in China. This method led to the explanation of informant experiences, which were finally translated into codes and significant themes. Results show that despite the fact that the vast majority of teachers explicitly discussed the negative aspects of their experiences during the lockdown, almost all agreed that online education provides Physical Education with exciting new potential.

This study was conducted to determine the level of awareness, the extent of utilization, and satisfaction of the participants with insurance broker products. This descriptive-relational research used a survey. There were 210 Insurance Broker clients who answered the researchers made questionnaire. The statistical tools used were the weighted mean and Spearmans Ro. The results showed that the level of awareness, the extent of utilization, and the level of satisfaction of the participants were high. The results also showed that there is still a need to enhance the level of awareness, the extent of utilization, and the level of satisfaction of the participants in terms of auto personal accident, 2,000 pesos deductible/participation, free acts of nature, household helpers, comprehensive general liability and 2% of total sum insured deductible/participation coverage. There was also a significant relationship between the level of awareness and the extent of utilization. The research findings also suggest that the limited awareness of clients is a result of their limited extent of utilization and satisfaction with the insurance broker products. In conclusion, even though the participants high level of awareness, the extent of utilization, and level of satisfaction, the need to boost marketing the product and improve the existing insurance coverage and features should be the primary goal of an insurance broker.cognitive domain by 85.97%, 91.43% in the affective domain, and by 89.18% in the psychomotor domain. This value is higher than the group that does not use the PHIKAP model.

This study aims to determine the mathematical proficiency of Grade 10 students of a Sectarian School in Bacolod City in solving functions. The data gathering instrument used was a validated teacher-made questionnaire. Based on the results and findings of the study and considering the limitations, the following conclusions were drawn: Both male and female students had average proficiency in terms of solving Linear, Polynomial and Exponential Functions. But in Logarithmic Function, the female outdid the male by achieving a high proficiency with the male only on the average. But, in terms of Quadratic Function, both male and female students scored low. Both private and public-school students had average proficiency in solving Linear Functions, Polynomial Functions, and Exponential Functions. Yet, regardless of origin of school, when it comes to proficiency in solving Quadratic Functions, all students got low. Both high- and low-income families had average level of proficiency in terms of solving Linear, Polynomial and Exponential Functions. Both also got a low level of proficiency on the topic Quadratic Function. But in terms of Logarithmic Function, those students who belonged to higher income families displayed high level of proficiency compared to those who belong to the lower income group who only had an average level of proficiency. There was a significant difference in the level of proficiency of students when grouped according to school origin. Lastly, there was no significant difference in the level of proficiency of students when grouped according to socio-economic status.

The industrial zones contribution to the countrys socio-economic development is very important, contributing to reducing the unemployment rate, creating more jobs for the active population; promote business environment, improve competitiveness; creating favorable conditions for localities to promote their specific strengths, and at the same time acting as a bridge for development between urban and rural areas... Realizing that, the Republic of Vietnam government (1955-1975) interested very much in the policy of developing industrial zones. Since 1960, the Republic of Vietnam government has made specific plans and established many industrial zones to serve the goal of industrialization economy. Among the industrial zones established under the direction and management of the National Industrial zone Expansion Company (establishment December 26, 1963, abbreviated SONADEZI), Bien Hoa Industrial Zone is considered as the most popular industrial zone in the world typical industrial production organization, actively contributing to the transformation of the industrial economy in the South Vietnam in the 1955-1975 period.

The purpose of this qualitative research is to define leadership and describe how to develop more effective leaders in schools by explaining the most important characteristics of a leader. In general, students need to learn leadership skills at the high school level in preparation for their future. Specifically, educators must understand the importance of education, understand the need for leadership, the importance of developing leadership skills, and the importance of preparing the student to fulfill goals. They must overcome any challenges students may face to reach their goals. Therefore, this article is aimed to highlight the most important skills that high school female students need to prepare them for the future such as “Planning and setting goals, Communication, Time management, Problem-solving, Decision-making, and Teamwork”. Also, it provides some suggestions to help educators build suitable curricula to meet their needs.

The paper analyzes the social pragmatic and emotionally expressive functions of nicknames. We identify nicknames as emotives, the lexemes that can be applied to one of the emotion categories. This study demonstrates that nicknames are semantically related to basic emotions models (Pride, Disgust). Positive and negative emotions are an integral function of the existence of a human as a whole spiritual personality and as a biological species. Emotional meanings that reflect basic human emotions are universal, and their manifestation in nicknames lexical nominations vary with degrees of depth and different pragmatic aspects. Emotion lexemes express positive or negative emotional evaluation, the subjective determination of the objects status, emotionally expressive approving or disapproving of somebody or something. Estimating the activities of others and expressing emotional evaluation, subjects of nicknames nominations intend to influence human behavior by specifying the recipient at risk to become the object of public condemnation and social disapproval, and mockery. The main reason for nicknames formation in the English language is the perception of the environment by a person both positively and negatively – socially-evaluated. Reflecting the general culture of English society and culture within the individual, in particular, nicknames create socio-cultural symbols, and cultural universals, indicating the traditions of people, habits, lifestyles, tastes, and ideas.

This article wants to explain about religious conflicts that occurred in several regions in Indonesia. All conflicts can be resolved properly and people of different religions can live in harmony with one another. Religious conflicts can be avoided if members of different religious groups can respect one anothers differences. This research was conducted in 2019-2020, in several regions in Indonesia. The method used to collect data is observation and in-depth interviews with religious, traditional and government leaders. The findings in this research, the unfavorable relationship between religions is caused by factors outside of religion.

This study examines and analyzes the Influence of Discipline and Workplace Spirituality on the success of the tasks of Indonesian Army Personnel in the U.N. peacekeeping mission in Lebanon, with motivation as an Intervening Variable. The respondents used are 136 members of the Indonesian Army in Lebanon taken using the Census sampling method. The data analysis method used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using AMOS 21. The results indicate that discipline and workplace spirituality positively and significantly influence work motivation and the success of the tasks of Indonesian Army Personnel, and work motivation positively and significantly influence the success of the duties of Indonesian Army Personnel. The results of the mediation effect test prove that work motivation can partially mediate the influence of discipline and workplace spirituality on the success in the tasks of Indonesian Army Personnel as members of the U.N. peacekeeping forces in Lebanon.

The problem of the increase of corruption is alarming in Liberia. Corruption has no small way contributed to increasingly levels of poverty and socio-economic inactivity in the country. This study aims to explore the causes of corruption and its effects on economic development in the country. The research contends that the causes of corruption are multi-dimensional fluctuating from poor leadership ability, lack of ethical standards, weak institutions, greed for wealth and position, greed for power, among others. The study pursues to discuss the efficiency of combating corruption by utilizing the ethical values of the societies such as; integrity, fairness, patriotism, and justice for all. Participants of this study were 250 from local organizations/intellectual forums with massive experience and understanding on the topic who purposely volunteered to get involved in questionnaires data collection, and out of them 15 were selected for interviews. The finding shows an inextricable issue of corruption with all relevant stakeholders playing their roles in order to achieve new Liberia. Stakeholders including government, family, religious bodies, international communities such as; African Union and Ecowas, and banks among others. The study recommend that corruption should be made a high risk and low benefit in order to discourage the act and free the collective resources for national transformation and development.

The criminal responsibility system for the crime of prostitution in Indonesia is partial and discriminatory. There is no guarantee of legal certainty and a legal vacuum for Commercial Sex Workers and their service users. This study aims to analyze and find the criminal responsibility system for prostitution according to positive criminal law in Indonesia and the weaknesses of the criminal responsibility system for prostitution based on the value of Pancasila justice. The paradigm in this research is post-positivism, which aims to produce new thoughts, understandings or ideas and theories in Indonesias material criminal law system. The method of normative juridical approach, with secondary data sources obtained through literature studies both on primary, secondary and tertiary legal materials, the data were then analyzed by qualitative descriptive methods. The study results show that the construction of positive criminal law in the Indonesian Criminal Code and the Electronic Information and Transaction Law (UU ITE) cannot be used to impose criminal liability on all parties involved in this crime. The provisions are partial and discriminatory. Weaknesses can be seen from the aspect of substance, structure, and culture so that the ideal reconstruction of the policy is needed to reconstruct Article 296 and Article 506 of the Criminal Code as well as Article 27 paragraph (1) and Article 45 paragraph (1) of the ITE Law which is based on non-discrimination and equality before the law that comes from extracting living values, In society.

This study focused on the familiarity of Facebook slang words and communication practices of 67 first year BA English students of Carlos Hilado Memorial State College enrolled on the Second Semester of the Academic Year 2018-2019. Specifically, this study focused on the level of familiarity on Facebook slang words and the extent of reading and writing practices using the Descriptive-Correlational Method of research. The data were obtained through the use of researcher-made questionnaire. The statistical tools used in this study included the mean, standard deviation, t-test, One-Way ANOVA, and Pearson’s Product-Moment Correlation. The results showed that the level of familiarity of first year BA English students is Excellent when grouped according to high school of origin and average length of time spent on Facebook. However, the extent of reading and writing practices is to a Moderate Extent when grouped according to high school of origin and average length of time spent on Facebook. There is a significant difference in the level of familiarity on Facebook slang words when students are grouped according to high school of origin while there is no significant difference in the level of familiarity on Facebook slang words when students are grouped according to average length of time spent on Facebook. No significant difference is seen in the extent of reading and writing practices when students are grouped according to high school of origin and average length of time spent on Facebook. There is no significant relationship between the level of familiarity on Facebook slang words and the extent of reading and writing practices of students.

As China gradually enters the era of mass tourism, peoples tourism consumption demand has changed from low-level and focusing on sightseeing to high-quality, diversified and leisure vacations, which puts forward more requirements for the deep, connotational and high-quality development of tourism. Given that the research on language landscape in tourism is still relatively insufficient, this study tries to investigate the construction of the language landscape in the Juguo ancient city in Shandong Province from the perspective of the tourism language landscape in China. The study found that the language signs in the scenic area are mainly monolingual signs, supplemented by bilingual and trilingual signs; There are three languages in the scenic spot, Chinese, English and Korean, among which Chinese is the priority code, while English and Korean are marginalized codes in the scenic spot language landscape. The management department of scenic spots plays a decisive role in constructing language landscapes, but the business operators have not yet realized the economic value of language landscapes. There are problems in constructing the tourism language landscape in scenic spots, such as insufficient construction of a diversified language landscape, non-standard translation of language signs, and lack of design sense and characteristics of signs. In the future, scenic spot management departments should pay attention to the value of language landscape construction, meet the multilingual needs of tourists, highlight the style and characteristics of language landscape, and regularly carry out language landscape investigation and updates.

This phenomenological study was carried out in order to explore the lived experiences of Post Graduate Diploma in Education students on the strengths and weaknesses of the program during the Covid 19 Pandemic. It also aimed at mapping up the way forward based on what works in the light of the new normal. The inception of the Covid 19 Pandemic resulted in sudden disruptions in most national systems including the educational systems in Zimbabwe. The Government responded to the pandemic with lockdowns, travel restrictions and social distancing. Within the tertiary education realm, the teacher training system was among those that were hard-hit because the teacher education program includes both theoretical and practical components. The practical component is the teaching practice, the hands-on experience that is significant to the student teachers. This meant that the nationally enforced COVID 19 restrictions would need adjustments in and restructuring of the pedagogical activities and practices that complied with the COVID 19 restrictions. Such strategies included adopting e-learning on various virtual platforms. Both teachers and students had to upscale their computer technology skills as fast as possible in order meet the demands and duration of the program. The study adopted a qualitative approach and thematic analysis was used to categorize responses. Five major themes emerged from the data collected as follows: Financial constraints, poor and unreliable internet connectivity: capitalizing on strengths of the program: students developed coping strategies and COVID 19 experience as a learning curve. The recommendation is a total embrace of the new normal by institutions of higher learning. In addition, the study also recommends that crisis preparedness and adequate student orientation are very necessary for smooth running PGDE program.

In the context of the volatile market economy, especially the increasing of competition, Marketing is considered as an indispensable tool in production and business activities, along with the strong development of technological techniques, the explosion of the Internet, Digital Marketing is becoming more and more developed. Nowadays, Digital Marketing is an effective advertising channel for businesses, including the application of SEM Marketing in small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Based on the analysis of 433 survey samples from SMEs in Hanoi, the research team gives an academic perspective on the factors affecting the application of SEM in SMEs in the area and propose recommendations towards improving the quality of SEM use in Hanoi in the coming time.

This paper aimed to ascertain the level of grammar and written discourse competence of BA English students. Likewise, it sought to determine significant differences in the level of grammar and written discourse competence of students when they were grouped according to sex and school of origin. Moreover, it purposed to discover the relationship between grammar competence and written discourse competence. The respondents were all 77 First Year BA English students of a state college in Negros Occidental. Employing descriptive-comparative and correlational research designs, a standardized test questionnaire was used to gather data about grammar competence, and a standardized rubric to assess written discourse competence. Mean, standard deviation, t-test and Pearson r were used to gather data. The findings reveal that the level of grammar competence of the respondents when taken as a whole was average while their level of written discourse competence was high. The male respondents and those who came from private schools had high-level grammar competence while the female respondents and those who came from public schools had average-level grammar competence. The male respondents and those who came from public schools had average-level written discourse competence. The female respondents and those who came from private schools had high-level written discourse competence. Furthermore, there was no significant difference in the level of grammar and written discourse competence of the respondents when they were grouped according to the profile variables, and there was a low positive relationship between their level of grammar competence and level of written discourse competence.

This study explored the lived experiences of the PWDs in the workplace.This research employed the phenomenological approach. Necessary data were obtained through semi-structured interview and observations. Two participants who are persons with disabilities (PWDs) and work in a public and a private sector were selected based on the criteria set in identifying participants. Through Colazzis method,participants responses were transcribed and coded for deeper analysis. Three emerging themes reflect the lived experiences of the participants:work gives them a feeling of fulfillment; inclusion in the workplace and freedom to enjoy all the rights and benefits of a regular employee significantly boost their morale and independence in the performance of assignments.Generally,their acceptance in the workplace keeps them going and inspires them to keep thinking on how to better their job performance under an environment where people do not see them as different individuals. They allow themselves to be productive just as anyone else in the workplace. They perform their work independently and they don’t see any reason to rely on others. They claim that the quality of work they render reflect their true capabilities.

Testing the tendency of accounting fraud from the aspect of internal control, appropriateness of compensation and individual morality needs to be proven through research. The type of research used is associative. The location of the research was at 7 State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) in Palembang City. The data used were primary data. Data collection techniques were through interviews and questionnaires. The sample collection method used a saturated sample. The population in this study were internal auditors and financial employees as many as 35 respondents. The data analysis method used was quantitative. The results showed that partially internal control and individual morality had no effect on the tendency of accounting fraud, then the appropriateness of compensation had a significant effect on the tendency of accounting fraud.

This article aims to describe the implementation of distance learning necessitates a quality management system for higher education. The method is qualitative, which can be explained by the reality of quality management in distance learning higher education. Literature related to quality management of distance learning in higher education, including problems and constraints of distance learning, management models in distance learning, distance learning systems approaches, roles in distance learning, online learning design components, and long-distance higher education quality assurance systems, serves as a data source. The results of the discussion can indicate actions for maintaining quality levels, such as (a) quality management, management so that there is still quality control for graduates who are expected to meet nationally accepted competency standards (quality control), and (b) higher education with distance learning is able to respond to any situation. Changes in learning include the development of distance education, and (c) distance education is the development of the concept of a cyber university or what is commonly known as distance learning in Indonesia.

This study aims to analyze the direct and indirect relationship of emotional intelligence, organizational climate, and interpersonal communication to the performance of primary school teachers in Simpur District, South Hulu Sungai Regency. The method used in this study is quantitative research method. The population of this study was 188 teachers. The sample of this study was 127 teachers with the Proportional Random Sampling technique. Data collection instruments are questionnaires consisting of emotional intelligence (39), organizational climate (36), and interpersonal communication (35) that have met the requirements of validity and reliability tests. Teacher performance data is taken from PKG. Data analysis to test hypotheses using path analysis. The results of this study are that there are a direct relationship emotional intelligence with teacher performance, organizational climate with teacher performance, interpersonal communication with teacher performance, emotional intelligence with interpersonal communication, organizational climate with interpersonal communication, and indirect relationships of emotional intelligence through interpersonal communication with teacher performance and organizational climate through interpersonal communication with teacher performance

This study aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership, motivation and work ethic on the performance of public elementary school teachers in Kertak Hanyar District, Banjar Regency. This research uses a quantitative approach with a path analysis model. The population of this study was 150 teachers from 17 public elementary schools with a sample of 110 people taken using proportional random sampling techniques. Each questionnaire of each variable is tested for validity using Correlation Product Moment, as well as reliability using the Cronbach Alpha formula. Data collection using questionnaire instruments consisting of transformational leadership variables of principals (41 items), work motivation (32 items), work ethic instruments (34 items) and teacher performance instruments (24 items). Before the hypothesis test is carried out, the data is tested with prerequisite tests in the form of normality tests, linearity tests, then analyzed by path analysis or Path Analysis. The results showed that there is a direct influence of transformational leadership, motivation and work ethic on teacher performance, there is an indirect influence of transformational leadership, work ethic on teacher performance through motivation.

Teacher work productivity is the performance of teachers in providing the best service to students and having an attitude to always improve and improve the learning process. Some factors that affect teacher work productivity are the principals instructional leadership, creativity and teacher achievement motivation. This study aims to describe and analyze the direct and indirect influence of principal instructional leadership on teacher work productivity through teacher creativity and achievement motivation. This study used a quantitative descriptive approach with correlational techniques. The population of this study was 168 teachers in 55 ECCE institutions. The sample of this study was 118 people. The number of samples is taken using the Slovin formula and proportional random sampling. Data collection was carried out using instruments consisting of principal instructional leadership (19 items), creativity (22 items), achievement motivation (19 items) and teacher work productivity (19 items) which had been tested for validity and reliability using product moment correlation. Data analysis of this study using Path Analysis. The results showed the influence of the principals instructional leadership on teacher work productivity through creativity and achievement motivation.

This study aims to analyze the direct and indirect effect of teacher competence, school facilities and teacher work motivation on teacher performance. This study used a quantitative approach, a type of correlational research. The population in this study was teachers of SD Islam Kota Banjarmasin which amounted to 544 people and a sample of 231 people was determined using proportional random sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out using instruments consisting of teacher competence (37 items), school facilities (43 items), work motivation (22 items) and teacher performance (30 items). Test the validity and reliability of the data using Alpha Cronbach. The research data were analyzed using path analysis to see direct and indirect relationships between variables, by first conducting normality tests, homoscedasticity tests, multicollinearity tests and correlation tests. The results showed that there is an effect between: (1) teacher competence on teacher work performance, (2) school facilities on teacher work performance, (3) work motivation on teacher work performance, (4) teacher competence on teacher work motivation, (5) school facilities on teacher work motivation, (6) teacher competence on teacher work performance through teacher work motivation, (7) school facilities on teacher work performance through teacher work motivation.

Along with the increasing import of consignment goods into Indonesia through online shopping, as well as to protect the domestic small and medium industries, on January 30, 2020, the government issued Minister of Finance Regulation Number 199 PMK0.10/2019 concerning Customs, Excise and Tax Provisions on Import of Consignment Goods. The content of the regulation is a decrease in the threshold for exemption from import duties and taxes in the context of imports from USD75 to USD 3 or around IDR 45,000. Implementation in Batam and other areas is very different, this is because Batam is a Free Trade Zone area, so this regulation is the basis for the people of Batam when they want to send goods from Batam to other areas in Indonesia. Goods above IDR 45,000 when shipped from Batam to other areas in Indonesia will be subject to import duty and tax in the framework of import. The problem approach used is normative-empirical approach, where the activity can be observed clearly, whether the community has behaved in accordance with the rules. For 3 years this regulation has been implemented in Batam, this regulation has been effective in carrying out its tax regulerend function, which is to protect the national interest in connection with the increase of imported goods and encourage the growth of small and medium industries, however, this regulation still experiences obstacles due to the low level of public understanding of the Free Trade Zone area, so that the purpose of implementing this regulation is not clearly conveyed and the public also feels objections when sending goods from Batam to other regions in Indonesia, because the goods sent from Batam are not all imported goods.

In this article, we consider the trends of development of financial capitalism as part of the process of neoliberalization and financialization of the economy and society and the positioning of Tramism in the dynamics of relations between industrial and financial capitalism, especially in two aspects: its trade and immigration policy.

Comparative literature cannot be thought of as ignoring translation. Instead, translation studies are more critical for comparative literature, as every word has several connotations for various cultures. Through translation, works of literature can influence each other, and people come closer to other cultures and understand others better. Most Indian readers, through the intermediary of translation, get access to the works of Goethe, Tolstoy, Balzac, Shakespeare, Gorky and many more. Translation studies as a subject have greater scope across the globe. Different Indian universities have started running degree or diploma courses in translation studies, and the new generation is attracted to it. Several public or private organisations need translators as public relations officers in their offices. This paper needs to consider the vital role translation plays in the broader literary phenomenon to demonstrate the impossibility of the general theory of literature. The circulation of texts and readings of world literature is only possible through translation, not as canonical literary texts. The paper explores translational studies role in defining literature as a space between the source and receiving cultures and examines the comparative relationship literature has with translation studies.

This study aims to find out the relationship between CSR, environmental and export performance, as well as the moderating effect of green business strategy and innovation based on the evidence from Chinese manufacturing SMEs. For this study a total of 212 questionnaires were conducted on small and medium-sized equipment export manufacturing companies in the Guangdong Province, the data analysis is conducted by SP SS to verify the research model. This study found a positive relationship between corporate social responsibility and environmental and export performance. Furthermore, results illustrated that innovation moderates the relationship between CSR and export performance. This paper investigates the link between CSR, green business strategy, innovation, export and environmental performance for the developing-country manufacturer that confronts specific barriers. It also provides a glimpse into academic and practical implications that may help manufacturing SMEs in developing countries, which are in a similar situation to China, to better their performance.

The Socialist Republic of Vietnam Partys foreign policy at this time is based on the premise of maintaining and enhancing economic ties with the Soviet Union while also taking into account solidarity and complete cooperation.
